Galentine's Day

"Galentine's Day is about celebrating lady friends. It's wonderful and it should be a national holiday."

I love Leslie Knope so much. And she is completely right.

It doesn't matter if you are single or married, those friendships that delve deep and love you at your core and call you out and sit with you on the kitchen floor and dance madly with you are unbelievably beautiful and necessary. And there is no better reason than beauty to make art.

So I spent an afternoon photographing Rachel, Katelyn, Andrea, and Holly. I love them so much! They are the best. Even though it was FRIGID out (like too cold for snow), they were amazing. They walked and laughed and told stories and giggled. Even though the four women are totally different and unique, they just love each other. It's wonderful! 

Friendship is beautiful. Let's celebrate it
