Indianapolis

A small part of our job as wedding photographers is traveling. I love that we get to meet people where they are, that we are invited to enter their comfort zone, their zip code, their kitchen, their world. This time we went to Columbus, Indiana, a small city about a half hour outside of Indianapolis. It is rural, with farmland everywhere and trees lining the highways. And of course once we were there, we had to go exploring. Indianapolis is great! It was clean, beautiful, walkable, and they had great restaurants to boot. We even found our very own Oddly Correct at a coffee/ breakfast place there called Milktooth! So we know it was legit. We stayed in a hotel, slept in, took long walks, drank coffee, went location scouting, held hands in the forest, went to the library, looked through old National Geographic anthologies, and photographed a beautiful love story. And we turned it into a road trip, went down south, visited Louisville, found amazing coffee and ended up making friends with the barista and some students at Southern Seminary. All in all, so much fun. The wedding pictures aren't totally ready yet, but these are a few images from our travels. Cheers!
